Essential Responsibilities:

• Plant Cultivation: Grows and maintains experimental plants in both greenhouse and field settings using best practices.

• Seedling & Transplanting: Handles plant propagation, including growing from seeds and executing transplanting processes accurately.

• Experiment Maintenance: Maintains detailed and systematic records of both field and lab experiments, supporting scientific accuracy.

• Pest and Disease Monitoring: Actively monitors plants for pests and disease and assists with implementing appropriate management strategies.

• Research Support: Aids in setup, execution, and documentation of research projects, including data collection and sample preparation.

• Inventory & Materials Management: Prepares procurement requests, organizes research materials, and ensures inventory is maintained.

• Transportation: Drives to various field sites for research support and transports materials and plant samples as required.

• Safety and Cleanliness: Ensures all field and lab environments are clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety protocols.

• General Duties: Performs additional research-related duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the research team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of experience in botany, horticulture, ecology, biology, or a related discipline.
