Position: IT Manager - ServiceNow
Location: Phoenix, AZ; Dallas/Irving, TX; Columbus, OH (ONSITE ONLY)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead ITSM Program Delivery: Assume a hands-on leadership role in Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and Configuration Management within ServiceNow as required.

  • ServiceNow Implementation: Act as the primary resource advising on the ServiceNow implementation, collaborating with stakeholders to validate and set the approach for program delivery.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and provide guidance on enterprise governance requirements to support effective oversight.

  • Assess ITSM Challenges: Work closely with key stakeholders to assess current ITSM-related challenges and make recommendations to enhance service delivery through ServiceNow.

  • Contribute Thought Leadership: Provide methodology, presentations, and whitepapers to ensure all available technical solutions are considered when making critical decisions for the platform.

  • Analyze Business Requirements: Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into solutions that align with ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities, considering future configurations and upgrades.

  • ServiceNow Operations Support: Support day-to-day ServiceNow operations, including user/group administration, reporting, metrics, and SLAs.

  • Innovative Technology Approaches: Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve complex business problems effectively.

  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers in non-technical terms, understanding their business needs, and providing suitable solutions.

  • Provide Technical Leadership: Guide, train, and lead the technical delivery team to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement.

  • Business Case Analysis: Conduct business case analysis to support decision-making processes and align with strategic goals and objectives.

  • Vendor Partner Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key vendor partners, incorporating industry best practices and monitoring emerging trends.

What You will Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in ITAM/ITSM, IT Operations, and Infrastructure.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow modules including Asset Management (HAM/SAM), Incident Management, Change Management, and more.

  • Proven experience in designing and developing complex ServiceNow solutions aligned with IT service and operations processes.

  • Experience with ServiceNow Tool Integrations (e.g., monitoring tools, third-party systems).

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work flexibly and analytically in problem-solving environments.

  • Strong knowledge of agile principles and SDLC.

  • Experience in consulting, technical leadership, and/or service delivery support.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial products/solutions, especially COTS software application products.
