Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Support: Manage quote inquiries for assigned territories, ensuring clients receive timely, accurate responses. Present reagents and contract research services effectively while maintaining high customer satisfaction through clear communication and prompt follow-up. Attend vendor shows as needed, providing on-site support and engaging with potential clients. Occasional travel is required.

  • Prospecting & Scheduling Meetings: Proactively identify new prospects and schedule meetings for Field Application Scientists (FAS) and Territory Account Managers (TAM). Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align strategies and ensure seamless client engagement. Provide valuable client feedback to internal departments to refine products and sales approaches. Work with supply chain and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

  • Maintain Current Client Relationships: Serve as a key contact for existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and support. Follow up post-sale to provide additional resources, answer questions, and confirm product performance meets expectations. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client research needs and address client concerns with support and technical teams.

  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to drive business growth.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Support team objectives by taking on cross-functional projects and other ad hoc assignments as required.

Candidates should possess a passion for life sciences and strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Junior-level sales experience is preferred, along with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. A Bachelor or higher degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Business, or related fields is advantageous. The role requires occasional travel within the U.S. and the ability to lift 25-50 lbs. Candidates must be based in or within commuting distance to Houston, Texas.
