Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Archiving Leadership

  • Education & Community Engagement
    Conduct user education sessions, participate in public lectures, and lead tours for students, faculty, and external visitors to promote digital collections.

  • Technology Use & System Proficiency
    Utilize and train staff on a range of digital archiving tools such as Archivematica, BitCurator, ArchivesSpace, and command-line tools. Familiarity with operating systems such as macOS, Windows, and Linux is valuable.


Requirements:

  • Education

    • Master degree required (preferably in Library Science, Archival Studies, or a related field)

  • Experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital archiving

    • Additional education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis

  • Skills Needed
